We have a group of brethren who are camping enthusiast in Setapak CDC, whereby long weekends usually means opportunity for Back-to-Nature retreat at some hidden camp site in the middle of jungle which you never thought existed.
We had our church second camping retreat last weekend whereby 20 of us drove all the way up to Janda Baik and set up our camp and enjoyed our time together for 3 days 2 nights in nature.
Despite the heavy rain, we had hearty dinner together thanks to the love labour of pastor JoyThe feast continued to the second day with Chinese sausage rice and topokki sausages!
Camping in nature definitely came with alot of inconveniences like very basic toilet, icy cold water, bugs and mosquitoes!! And not forgetting the rain that’s poured non-stop til midnight. Despite all the hiccups, we managed to enjoy the precious time off from the hustle and bustle of city. Its fun even though we are just doing simple stuffs like preparing food together, talking and joking with each other.
The Children are enjoying cooking pancake on barbecue pit and playing lantern
hile the adults to what adults do best, hanging around do nothing
