On 20th late afternoon, a group of Setapak CDC brothers and sisters drove about 90km from Kuala Lumpur to Sekinchan for an overnight stay.
Its really a God blessing that everyone managed to reach Sekinchan safe and sound despite the rain and heavy Friday traffic. Some brethren even got the chance to drop by the nearby beach to enjoy the sunset.
On 21st early morning, we started our sekinchan full day programme with yummy bak kut teh breakfast and great companies at restaurant Riri Fatt.
We visited the beautiful paddy field and the paddy processing factory. It was great to enjoy God’s wonderful creation. The scenery was picturesque and vividly striking – clear blue sky and endless luscious green paddy field. The whole earth was thriving and bathed in glorious sunshine.
Lunch at Township restaurant.
Coffee break at N.16 bus cafe.
Overall it was short but pleasant trip, it was nice to escape the hustle bustle of the city once in a while just to enjoy God’s creation and also to be closer to members of God’s family. We thank sister sin chek for her great planning and coordinating throughout the trip.
Last but not least, quoting from Pastor Joy’s words:
Yahweh God is so so good to grant us good weather throughout the trip. His shade (the cloud) when we were taking photos at the rice field. It only rain or drizzle when we are on our way home.
Everything is a blessing!
